I’m Oyinda. I love to write. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. Not just writing class notes and assignments, writing stories and ‘poems’. I even published a few on Wattpad and on the Episode App. I stopped writing a few months ago though, after inspiration stopped coming. I recently got re-inspired, and I decided to start again, and publish.
When I told my friend I decided to take up writing again, she was glad. Then, I told her the name I came up with for the blog, and she was like, “WHAT?! What is the meaning of that?” I’m going to explain.
Dozens of thoughts go through the human mind every minute. Some funny, some sad, some serious, some downright depressing, many of them like that. The point of this blog is not mainly to publish my stories; it’s to air the thoughts that go through my mind. Not just any thought, of course; thoughts that linger in mind and when sit to write about them can be something concrete.
That’s where the idea for ‘thoughts’ came from. As for the ‘semi-sane’, come on, who isn’t a bit not sane? We all need to embrace that not-so-sane part of ourselves.
