PRODUCT REVIEW: ECO STYLER OLIVE OIL STYLING GEL

A couple of weeks ago, I got my Eco Styler Gel in Olive Oil (473ml). I had been having troube with my edges(4c girls can relate), and I had gotten the Olive Oil ORS Edge Control, but it wasn’t doing the trick. It might work for some people with other hair types, but it doesn’t work for me.

I was at a friend’s place when I saw the gel, and asked her if I could try some on my hair. It worked like magic and my edges were laid. I just knew I had to get mine. It wasn’t at Shoprite, Ilorin, but I was able to get at Jockervellas, a cosmetics store at Ilorin. It’s available in many variants, including Argan Oil and Olive Oil.

I got it in Olive Oil, and it has been working wonders.

My hair is very tough, as is normal of 4c hair, and the Eco Styler Gel is able to hold it down. It smells amazing, and as written on the container, it doesn’t flake, and it doesn’t cause itching.

How I apply it:

I spray my edges with my homemade hair spray.

I apply coconut oil and olive oil to my edges.

I use an old but clean toothbrush to take a portion of the gel, and apply it to my edges, and style as desired.

I tie my hair as tight as possible with a scarf for thirty minutes, and let it dry.

The gel has other uses, apart from edge control, but I use it only for edge control.

In summary, Eco Styler Professional Styling Gel is the best there is for 4c edge control.
