Get ready for a very long post.
This post contains a complete list of all my hair care products, where to get them, prices, and functions. If you want a detailed review of any one, don’t forget to comment and like. xoxo.
I’ve done a couple of hair care product reviews, but this is different. This post was inspired by a couple of pictures I saw on twitter.
I aim to have a collection as large as these onee. But you know, I’m poor. LOL.
This is my own collection of hair care products. There are shampoos, conditioners, a moisturizer (I really need more), -hair creams, and gels.

Shampoos:
Argan Oil Shampoo with Moroccan Argan Oil extract – can be gotten at Shoprite, Ilorin. When I got it it was 989 naira, but the price might have gone up.
Olive Oil ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo – This is the my newest shampoo, but it’s my favorite ever. It smells so nice, and it’s so leathery. I got it at Twins Faja, Igando, Lagos. It recently became available at Shoprite, Ilorin for 1399 naira.
(For best shampooing experience, shampoo with warm water to get rid of product residue ,and rinse with cold water to lock in moisture.)
Deep Conditioners:
Nature’s Gentle Touch Herbalblend Deep Conditioning Cholesterol Treatment – This is the first deep conditioner I got when I was just starting my natural hair journey. Apply after rinsing off shampoo, working from the tips to the roots of hair. For instant conditioning, leave on for five minutes. For deep conditioning, leave on for 10-15 minutes. I can’t remember the price, but it’s available at Shoprite, Ilorin.
Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask: This is my favorite, because it makes my hair unbelievably soft and bouncy after I rinse it out. After shampooing, towel dry hair, then apply from the roots to the tip. Leave it on for 7-10 minutes then rinse out. You can get it at Shoprite, Ilorin. 1600-1800.
Beauty Formula’s Body & Shine Soft Apricot Hair Conditioner: This helps to restore shine and bounce, and adds body and fullness to hair. Unlike the NGT or Argan Oil conditioners, this should be rinsed out after just 2-3 minutes. You can get it for 900 naira at Shoprite, Ilorin.
Beauty Formula’s Moisturising Mediterranean Olive Hair Conditioner – This is a hydrating conditioner that helps replace lost moisture. This should applied just like the Beauty Formula’s Body & Shine Soft Apricot Hair Conditioner. Can also be gotten at Shoprite, Ilorin for 900 naira.
Leave-In Conditioner:
Nature’s Gentle Touch Herbalblend Intensive Leave-In Conditioner: This “provides instant continuous conditioning treatment for ultimate hair care”. It makes hair really manageable and easy to comb and style. Enriched with Hair Keratin Protein, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Wheat Germ Oil.
Moisturizer:
Nature’s Gentle Touch Herbalblend Daily Oil Moisturiser – As written on the bottle, this moisturizer “protects, nourishes, and adds shine”. And that’s exactly what it does. It’s a good buy, but some people prefer a water-based moisturizer.
For Curls/Edge Control:
Beautiful Textures Curl Definer Styling Custard: This is a non-flaking frizz-taming styling custard. It helps to manage curl separation and stretch curls without any sticky build up. It’s enriched with aloe vera, coconut, olive, vitamin E, argan oil, shea and mango butter. This should be applied in quarter-sized amounts from roots to ends, while using your fingers to rake your tresses till you achieve your desired definition. It should be 1500-ish at Shoprite, Ilorin.
Beautiful Textures Curl Control Defining Pudding: This helps with frizz control and hair stretching. Can be used for Fingerstyle or 2 Strand Twists. The only problem I have with this product is that it flakes.
Olive Oil ORS Edge Control: This should sell for 1200-1500 naira at beauty stores. Helps with edge control, mostly for softer hair types(3/2/1), I use it sometimes over my Eco Styler gel to achieve a stronger hold (I got this tip from YouTube).
Eco Styler Professional Styling Gel: I wrote a detailed review on this product. You can find it HERE.
Hair Creams
Kuza Indian Hemp Hair and Scalp Treatment: This is a “blend of fine oils and natural herbs”. It helps treat damaged hair and makes hair look soft and shiny. Can b gotten for 1500 naira at beauty stores.
Nature’s Gentle Touch Olive Oil Hair and Scalp Conditioning Crème: This “helps revitalized very dry hair by adding moisture to the scalp and hair shaft”. It’s used for daily conditioning. I’ve forgotten the price.
Nature’s Gentle Touch Coconut Oil Hair and Scalp Conditioner: This is one of the first products I got when I started my natural hair journey, and it helps with conditioning. Daily application makes hair soft and healthy for easy grooming. 1500-1700.
Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula with Vitamin E: This is my favorite hair cream in the entire world. It smells divine. For weeks after I got it, I didn’t use it, but I kept opening it to sniff whenever I had a craving for ice cream. It smells that good. I’m sad because I’ve almost run out, and i don’t have the money to get another one. It costs almost 2000, if not more than that. It’s a really amazing product, and makes hair extra soft and shiny.
Blue Magic Organics Indian Hemp Herbal Hair and Scalp Conditioner
Nature’s Gentle Touch Tea Tree Anti-Dandruff: This is my favorite anti-dandruff hair cream in the entire world. It works wonders, I tell you. HERE is a detailed review.
