When I first thought up this post, it was “why are men… men?” and then it was “why are women… women?”. The truth, however, is that no gender has the monopoly of vices. Men lie, women lie; women cheat, men cheat; men will betray your trust, women will too; women will hurt you, and so will men. And my question is, why are people… people?
Why are people so inherently evil? Maybe evil is a bit strong, but why do people just do snake shit and always try to do horrible, mean, and inconsiderate stuff to you? It’s very unfair and just wicked. There are people, of course, who are absolutely angels and have been able to be nothing but beacons of light and pillars of support to everyone around them. There are also people who are the exact opposite. And there are also people who are absolute angels to some people, and then are demons to other people.
What I don’t understand is if anyone will drop dead from just being straight with how they really feel. If you don’t like me, that’s fine. I wasn’t born to be liked by everyone. If you don’t like me then stay out of my way. You don’t have to pretend to be my friend or be in my corner then wait for a slip up to show your real colors. Don’t do that BS with me or with anyone else.
How sad does your life have to be for you not to be able to support, love, and gas up the people you call your friends? I mean, it’s like some people just loooovvvveeee to make other’s lives a living hell. Why? Why cheat, lie, steal from, betray, and ugh… I don’t even think I have enough words to convey my thoughts.
It’s important to be good – genuinely good to people around you. Work on yourself, be better, do better. Being and doing good won’t kill you, tbh. Work on yourself for your sake, and for the sake of the people around you.
