Krispy Kreme’s Chillers: My Review

Krispy Kreme is one of my favorite things/places in the world, and every time I’m around one of their locations, I always make sure I buy something – either a donut or a cup of coffee. Recently (not so recent maybe, maybe during the fourth quarter of 2018), they introduced their “Chillers” – fruit/coffee/fruit syrup blended with ice to give you the perfect frozen drink.

Since I first tried the Coffee Frappe, I have been obsessed with it, and anytime I’m at a Krispy Kreme outlet, I have either the Coffee Frappe or the Mango Chiller (I love mangos).

Sooooo, the Chillers come in 5 variants – Lemonade, Mango, Strawberry, Wildberry (all 1,400 naira per cup), and Coffee Frappe (1,500 naira per cup). Out of the five, I have had three – Mango, Strawberry, and Coffee Frappe.

In general, the chillers taste amazing and they have great flavor when you start drinking them. After a while, as with all frozen drinks, the flavor gets sucked out and you’re left with ice and lightly flavored water. I think its a tad overpriced at 1400/1500, but when compared to their other prices, it’s okay.

The Chillers are served in Krispy Kreme’s large transparent cups with lids, and there’s a little hole on the lid for the straw. The packaging is aiight, but the taste/flavor is A1.

When you do get yours, be sure to buy for two, and send one to my house.
