Audiobook Review ||And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Title: And Then There Were None
Author: Agatha Christie
Narrator: Dan Stevens
Rating: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

🥶
This was my first Agatha Christie, and OMG, I understand now why she’s hailed the queen of crime/mystery. This was such a great book and the narrator did a wonderful job.
🥶
I enjoyed getting to know the characters, their back stories, and what exactly they did to get them the dreaded invite to the island. It was a bit difficult to navigate the first chapters of the novel because of the Old English setting and narration (the first of its kind I ever listened to), but once I was 100% got into it, it was a smooth sailing ride.
🥶
The thing that made this book a solid 5-star read for me, was the fact that we knew how they were all going to die, but there was still so much suspense. It was intriguing to just wait and see who was going to die next, already knowing how they’d die. The crazy part came when towards the end and everything went to hell. The big reveal and the way the revelation came really made my head spin. It was sooooooooo good – I can’t stress that enough.

If you haven’t read this classic yet, what are you waiting for?!

Blurb

One of the most famous and beloved mysteries from The Queen of Suspense—Agatha Christie—now a Lifetime TV movie.

“Ten . . .”
Ten strangers are lured to an isolated island mansion off the Devon coast by a mysterious “U. N. Owen.”

“Nine . . .”
At dinner a recorded message accuses each of them in turn of having a guilty secret, and by the end of the night one of the guests is dead.

“Eight . . .”
Stranded by a violent storm, and haunted by a nursery rhyme counting down one by one . . . as one by one . . . they begin to die.

“Seven . . .”
Which among them is the killer and will any of them survive?
