Nine Popular Books That Are Worth All The Hype

Book hype is the best thing that an author and a publisher can hope for. A book’s popularity has a huge pull towards getting people to read it. While this is mostly a good thing, it might not be the best thing for many readers looking for their next read. No matter how popular a book is, it will never be a fit for everyone. A large percentage of the hype a book gets is also fueled by the publisher via book tours and other similar promotions. I have to confess, I have fallen prey to hyped books that personally didn’t live up to they hype for me. Luckily, however, there are many hyped books that deserve every bit of the hype they’re getting. In this post, I’ll be sharing a list of nine popular books that are worth all the hype they’re getting on Booktube, Bookstagram, Goodreads, Book Twitter, and many other bookish platforms.

Please note that list is in no particular order, and all opinions are mine. I’ll be linking my blog/Goodreads reviews to the books I have reviewed. For the ones I’ve not reviewed, I will be reviewing soon!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Legendborn by Tracy Deonn

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

Grown by Tiffany D. Jackson

You Should See Me In A Crown by Leah Jackson

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

Let me know if you’ve read any of these books, and your thoughts on them! What popular books have you read and loved recently?

Hi there!

My name is Ru, or Oyinda. I’ve been reading for as long as I can remember, and my love for books has only grown stronger over the years. There’s something so special about getting lost in a story and then sharing those thoughts with others. On this blog, you’ll find book reviews, honest (and sometimes rambling!) bookish thoughts, recommendations across different genres, and many more for fellow book lovers. Whether you’re searching for your next read or just want to chat about books, you’re in the right place.
